Goodies for February PFATT Upadate Day!
"Dream " Art Doll Journal (SOLD)
I have to admit I am a little excited about what is new for me for 2011. These are the best of both worlds for me personally, so I brought them together! Art Dolls , that are also full functioning yummy art journals for you to dream in : )
I have made each hard bound journal by hand, with wonderful 140lb, archival quality, cold pressed, water color papers. Ready for you to play in. 
Each journal has vintage papers interlaced throughout for extra inspiration. The interior is finished off with lovely end papers. The exterior of each journal is painted , and given a vintage patina.
They also feature a front plate of etched copper or brass (the metal is cut , shaped, etched, right here in the studio) , that has also been given and aged patina. 
Each journal then has an art doll made for it , each with her own style and personality. They are each signed and dated on the back cover. She is ready to help inspire you on your creative journeys! They are each about 12" tall. So a maybe little large to wear (even though they do come on beautiful binding ribbon ready to hang : ) I am working on some shorter ones for wearing about (shhh)

I have also started these little petite"inspirational blocks".
We all need a few words to release our inner creative selves at times and get us motivated. These are small 4x4 original ooak paintings on wood blocks that fit perfectly anywhere, with little inspirations to get you moving and making. They inspire me so much doing them. I hope they inspire you too. :)
