Im in A Halloween Mood! New Doll Line The Oddbodys

 

I have been very much in the Halloween mood,

 which happens every year  around May , June-ish.

 Perfect time to introduce a new doll family.

"The Oddbodys"

 

 

 The Oddbodys are a family of 11" handsculpted completely one of a kind dolls 

with a little tragic twist

most of them having a bit of a gothic feel to them .

 First up is Elsabeth. 

Elsabeth loves the beautiful  lace gown that was handmade for her

by her dear Mother.

Alas, poor Elsabeth has been wearing said dress since 1932!

 Elsabeth loves social occasions to show off her beloved dress,

 even though she is obviously unaware that the skirt is 

now frightfully tattered  , and slightly stained.

Or, it may be that she just doesn't care!

 She loves to admire herself 

in her dress in any looking glass that is available to her.

 

Elsabeth was sculpted and painted by hand. 

Her dress is made from antique laces and tulles.

Her hair is a slightly tossled Mohair wig.

She sits nicely assisted,

showing off her mary jane shoes.

She is a completely one of a kind

signed and dated art doll.
