Wax on Wednesdays ! Glue Collage Series

This week I did a small glue collage series using a fun pattern motif throughout the series varying the compositions slightly.

The caramel hues produced by the glue are enhanced even more when a few layers of clear medium are added !

I worked with mostly hand painted papers using walnut ink. Some more absorbent than others. I also had a very fun mark making experience when using the encaustic medium as a resist, painting it on the copy paper on the heated surface, and then giving a wash of walnut ink.
