This week starting some fun underpainting exploration 

with walnut ink on Arches Oil paper. 

I use different simple tools to help the oil paper accept 

the walnut ink into the paper. 

The most fun was incising tiny marks into the paper's

surface and letting the ink seep in and create some great markings.
