Wax on Wednesdays Fall Play Transfers with R and F Pigment Sticks and Gel Press

Using natural forms for impressions and transfers onto the encaustic surface can
be so addicting !
This week let's try a transfer method using a Gel Press plate
and some R and F Pigment sticks.

I am using black over a red and white prepared encaustic surface. To me the prints
in black look so much like the old antique illustrations that I am fond of that it is
really an enjoyable process.

The excess pigment is blotted up with a piece of copy paper so that
I end up with a lovely silhouette print of the leaf on paper that I can later
add encaustic to . Maybe I will show what I do with those
in another Wax on Wednesdays video.

Here are the Supplies I used this week :
Each week I list the supplies I used in the video here on the blog for you so that you can see and easily find the items used for that week's  technique .
If you purchase items from the links provided it sometimes generates a few cents in commission  which goes right back in to creating videos for you on the youtube channel. It  does not raise the cost for you in any way, and is the same link you would find on a regular amazon prime search . Thank you ahead for you support of Wax on Wednesdays in any way ! Also , although the photos here can help you easily find the product . I also recommend that you look at your local art /hobby store to make sure you are getting the lowest price. Sometimes with weekly 40% off coupons basic items can be found at a better price.
If you are receiving this blog post via email click on the live link to the post so that you can view the supply links .
Happy Creating !

"Moving! the Paint and You "

This was quite possibly the most fun I have
ever had sharing a workshop !

For many years
I have practiced warmups as soon as I enter the studio to
loosen up ,get in a creative frame of mind , and leave
everything else at the door.
This workshop is a culmination of developing these warmups
over the years in almost every medium .
30 days of full painting warmups many of which
can be carried on and developed further
into finished works.

Like all of the online workshops
forever access 24/7 once purchased.
And, the new online classrooms allow you to
access ALL of you Encausticology workshops
from one convenient location to  enjoy for as long  as you like  !!!
