Happy October to Everyone!
This is my absolute favorite time of year to create whimsical
I could literally spend 24 hours a day in the studio
watching all these little creatures come to be.
This years "Pumpkin Fairies " are all papier mache, and hand painted.
Most of my papier mache are hand sculpted , but the bases of these are actually cast from
one of my favorite little antique dolls I got from Jenni when I last saw her.
I added the pudgy pumpkin bellies , hats, etc. and they are all hand painted with
a little sprinkling of "fairy dust" of course!
These little Fairies will be part of my offering for PFATT
this month on October 10th at 1pm eastern.
Possibly my favorite thing this year , are my holiday
I am in love with glass jars anyway, and found a
way to bring my two favorite things together!
This guy is coming to Country Living Magazine Fair inAtlanta , and will be filled with candy corns!
These guys are just rough sculpted , without even
a sanding yet, and I think they are finally dry.
I had better get back to work...
next week , some metal goodies :)
