Wax on Wednesdays! Something Spooky This Way Comes ....

Something a little spooky and fun for this week's Wax on Wednesdays!

I found these little guys on a dollar store hunt . They were supposed to be a  spooky garland ,
so I scored 5 of the little cuties for a dollar !

At Halloween and Christmas I tend to catch  a nostalgic
"cutsie-itis" itch that I just have to scratch.  Christmas cards, Holiday ornaments, Halloween decor ( using encaustic of course :)

Insider confession , for this project I turned up Oingo Boingo "Dead Man's Party" , and
"This is Halloween" from Nightmare Before Christmas, to further feed my Halloween mood .  ( gotta love Danny Elfman :) .

Supplies I Used this Week
masonite boards
white encaustic medium
dollar store skeletons
graphite powder
make up sponge
orange soft pastel
heat gun
